get your moog on: it’s the unireverse!

suffocating heat & the good old montreal smog have prevented us to update this page up til now but those who know us know it was only a matter of time… because, yes, after a few months wait, it is finally time to announce the imminent release of the debut CD of montrealers The Unireverse!

so—the record is called Plays the Music & it contains four instrumental covers of well known (& lesser known) songs, & four originals. all of it created using analog synthetisers & beatboxes of the same ilk. ever heard a space-rock version of i feel love? well, it’ll soon be possible. this & other things too.

apart from that, we’ve got a bundle of other projects on the grill, & we might as well unveil some of them or you’ll think we’re really out of it… so, we’ve got The Eastern Stars, a side-project of our friends Mixel Pixel, with a first CD out this fall (a co-release with mental monkey records). this will be followed in early 2006 by a first solo CD from A_dontigny who is everywhere these days (see for instance the recent ears-&-earth-shattering morceaux_de_machines CD). after that, if we have the money, we’d sure like to release some Camp as well as some James Schidlowsky but shhhh, that’s not official.

well, sorry, no type isn’t dead indeed, & we don’t even smell funny… (which is quite a feat in itself under this heat.)
