no type presents: the analog spring!

shows, want shows? we’ve got more shows coming up than you can shake a stick at, & why would you want to do that anyway. at any rate, if you have the good fortune of living in montreal, then you will doubtless have the good idea to come to the following no type related shows.

first on april 13, Books on Tape comes back in town to present his new CD! opening acts Minibloc, [sic] and Some Trees will contribute to the sonic debauchery, & the 10,000 Teenage Girl Posse will provide the DJing. get your planners ready! it happens at el salon starting at 9 pm.

Magali Babin fans won’t want to miss her next concert, accompanied of i8u, Myléna Bergeron & Les Poules. this happens april 28 at o patro vys, starting at 8:30 pm (sharp!) & it is presented by productions supermusique.

on may 7, great comeback from our favourite vancouverites, Coin Gutter, sharing the headline with Mixel Pixel & Vitaminsforyou (whoa!). here again, this happens at el salon starting at 9 pm.

as a closing event (but who knows…) we are happy to receive Howard Stelzer & Gal on their north american tour. morceaux_de_machines & Esther B will be opening for this concert presented at casa del popolo on june 8 at 9 pm. this last show is part of this year’s suoni per il popolo festival.

it’s official & it’s about time! no type has finally fixed its canadian distribution problem, thanks to a partnership with quebec city based distributor statik. in the coming months, our complete catalogue will be put back on the market through their expert hands. that news should rejoice all those eager morceaux_de_machines fans, waiting desperately for their mighty new CD Estrapade to grace the shelves of their favourite CD store. (note: if you are THAT impatient, feel free to buy it online. :)

to complete this string of good news, we should mention that avant sound distributor emeritus forced exposure from boston has added some of our titles to its catalogue.
