so what is asyncdrone anyway? orchestral noise? lo-fi post-rock? new no wave? whatever it is, it should be obvious that this collective likes to go where categorization least awaits them.
bedroom videofeed was recorded all in one night by david haadler & kaia wong on a four-track recorder, hence the hisses & scratches galore. all songs are improvisations built around keyboards, electric violin, & acoustic guitar.
the spoken word reading of underworld, as well as genetics & female sexuality class notes, gives the recording an almost literary feel, a clue perhaps to understanding this album in its most accurate light.
