Souterra (In Search of Providence)

James Schidlowsky collected all the sounds and noises of this sonic journey in the Montréal subway system. Since Providence is the name given previously to the monitoring and security hub of the undergound transportation system, this sound ecology project can be interpreted as an reflexion on its structure, or even a quest for its true meaning - a search for its symbolic ‘heart’.
